Barclays captures local Hong Kong scene to promote Asia Trophy tournament

HONG KONG - Barclays has rolled out its latest campaign along Hong Kong's MTR stations to promote the upcoming Asia Trophy tournament set to take place in the city from July 27 to 30.

The campaign is featured in Hong Kong's Central MTR station, utilising the extensive corridor on JCDecaux's platform. It will run until 5 August, as well as in print media.

The ads promote the football teams that will be playing in Hong Kong - Chelsea, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers and Kitcheel. They are set against a backdrop showing local elements such as Hong Kong apartment buildings.

Football jerseys of the participating teams are seen hanging from the balconies of the apartments to tie in the football clubs to the local environment.
