Amex and Booking.com expand property inventory for business travellers

American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has opened up more inventory through its existing partnership with Booking.com.  The travel management company now says it can offer companies and business travellers access to more than 2 million properties worldwide. The expanded programme also includes special business discounts.

While the news doesn’t directly affect GBT’s Meetings and Events offerings, the partnership will undoubtedly open up new inventory to clients when booking meetings and events.

In a release, Wesley Bergstrom, GBT vice president of global supplier relations, said: “We are determined to give clients and travellers access to the widest range of accommodation choices, with a vast range of properties and property types, all bookable through online booking tools.”
