Bates 141 Singapore appoints Profero's John Ng as MD

SINGAPORE – John Ng, formerly with digital shop Profero, has been appointed as managing director of Bates 141 Singapore.

He was most recently managing director of Profero Singapore, having risen through the ranks from head of media and before that as Asia-Pacific lead at Profero Performance.

Ng joins Bates 141 soon after the departure of Frederique Covington to Microsoft, reported in January. Covington was managing partner for Southeast Asia and head of strategy for Asia at the agency.

Ng is described as a progressive and dedicated specialist in the arena of digital marketing communications, with an established agency background in traditional advertising

He has extensive experience in areas of project leadership and business development, with hands-on exposure in day-to-day matters in areas of creative production to media planning, negotiations, buying and optimisation, technology tools and one-to-one marketing using eDM and SMS.
